Building Your Dream Home

What is Polyurethane Soil Stabilization?

Soil stabilization is the process of strengthening weak or shifting ground so it can support a structure now or in the future. Traditionally, this was done using heavy machinery to compact the soil — which isn’t ideal if you already have concrete or a building in place.

That’s where polyurethane foam comes in.

Instead of digging or disturbing the surface, we inject expanding foam underneath the slab. As it expands, it compacts the soil from below, fills empty spaces, and can even lift the structure if needed. It’s a clean, effective way to strengthen the ground without tearing anything up.

What Causes Soil to Become Unstable?

Soils can shift, sink, or lose strength for all kinds of reasons, like:

  • Erosion – Water or wind slowly washes away supporting material

  • Weather changes – Freeze-thaw cycles cause soil to expand and contract

  • Organic decay – Natural breakdown of plant or animal material reduces soil density

  • Poor construction – If the ground wasn’t compacted properly when it was built on, it can settle later

Why Use Poly Soil Stabilization?

Polyurethane foam is a modern solution to an age-old problem. Here’s why it works so well:

  • Fast & cost-effective – Most jobs are done in a day

  • Non-invasive – No digging, no demolition

  • Eco-friendly – No harmful chemicals

  • Permanent – Once cured, it lasts for decades

  • Strong – Improves soil strength and load capacity

  • Water-resistant – Won’t break down from moisture
